Had a sudden need for some retail therapy, so I ventured into the Miu Miu shop nearby. Discovering that surprisingly, Taipei had the lowest prices compared to Singapore and even Hong Kong (gasp!), I couldn't resist getting this little treasure ...
A mini bow! In Ginestra
I'd been eyeing the bow bag ever since seeing Cherry Blossom Girl carrying hers in her blog. But when I went into the shop, I tried it on, and found it (regular bow) too big for me. And I was a little disappointed as they were all in the distressed leather (I'm not a big fan of this) for the current season. However, when I walked into Miu Miu on Monday, I saw the mini bow in this lovely colour, and it was love at first sight ....
I've been petting it at home, and taking it out a couple of days now, and I find it really suits my needs. Lately, I've found that my neck and shoulders ache from carrying heavy bags, so I needed a bag to carry in my hand to take the load off my shoulder. And Mini Bow is perfect. It's so sweet looking and ladylike, yet is big enough for me to put my usual stuff inside. Plus, I have the option of carrying it in my hand, slinging it crossbody messenger style, and carrying it on my shoulder. What a versatile little treasure!
And although it is in distressed leather, I find that in this particular colour, I like it in this treatment. Can you tell I'm so very happy with Mini Bow? :)
