A couple of weeks back, we were at Ximending, showing our Mexican visitor around one of the oldest parts of Taipei city. As it was another incredibly hot summer day, we decided to take him to try this thirst quenching fruit drink which is an institution at Ximending: Preserved Starfruit/Carambola drink on ice. It's basically preserved starfruit/carambola sliced and served in its juices and a healthy dose of ice chips. Delish!
