Gado Gado & Tapioca Kueh


And for dessert, my favourite nonya kueh!
Tapioca Kueh!
I wish I could find tapioca and fresh shredded coconut in Taipei.
If I could, and if someone could help me to grate it,
I'd make this all the time!

Gado Gado sauce
which we pour a little over all the ingredients below.
This tastes something like satay sauce,
with peanuts in it.

Prawn Crackers

My mom made Gado Gado for us for lunch today.
I never realised before but it's a pretty healthy dish -
cabbage
cucumbers
long beans
potatoes
eggs
tofu
