This is what we chose:
A Chocolate Roll
We were so impressed by the desserts we had that
we couldn't resist buying some back home.
And just look at the pretty packaging!
Cocoa Crepes with cream and berries and ice cream
Each ingredient on its own wouldn't have tasted so good
but taken together,
the combination was wonderful!
Tiramisu?
I certainly wasn't expecting this when one of my friends
ordered tiramisu.
This was definitely a Japanese take on tiramisu
it came with green tea jelly, coffee jelly, red beans,
white sesame ice cream (unusual again!
Apparently, they make their own ice cream
and they have the most unusual flavours!),
And to top everything off, the most unexpected scattering of
OLIVES! on top of the red beans!
I'm amazed at how the chef could concoct such an amazingly
complementary combination of flavours!
This is my caramel ice cream with banana and custard
the top was a little burnt like creme brulee
and the ice cream tasted like burnt caramel
which was fantastic! And so unusual!
I've never had burnt caramel ice cream before.
It was so good, my friends bought a small tub home!
Counter filled with beautifully crafted desserts!
We just discovered this lovely dessert place courtesy of
It's opened by a Japanese patissier
and the shop's name is:
Micasa
